"This is the true history of how a young man with a great future in
computer science decided to ruin his career and become a
Professional Lazy.

I was born on 20th June 1978, Caracas, Venezuela. I went to school
like kids normally do, had a bike and was watching cartoons most of
the day. I did pretty much whatever was possible, except air sports. So
when I became 18 years old I started paragliding, which drasticlly
changed my life. By the way, the same year I started the university, but
that didn't drasticlly change my life.

Most people goes to Nepal or India to find themselves, for me was
enough a four-month-trip around Europe ... So, after a few years at
university with no success at all I decided to go back to Europe. The
"idea" was to finish my engineer career there, but after a few days
flying in the Alps I forgot about that ...

Later on I got sponsored by Independence Paragliders (Germany) and
I started doing promo trips and some photography for them. Eventually
the idea of making videos came up, and with the release of "a low
budget video" (2003), a new kind of life stood in front of me: I could
travel around the world, doing the things I like, and portray them as my
imagination wanted".   Marcos Luger
